HERE'S A MAGAZINE I WON'T BE SUBSCRIBING TO...

It happened 10 years ago for Pete's sake. On and on and on about it.

In the name of humanity, please stop.

World Youth Day Toronto 2002 is not the "source and summit" of the Catholic Church.

Benedict XVI is now pope, since 2005, and he's done alot of good stuff, you know.

Time to move on.

A finger in every bloody pie and another with potential is compromised.

What I really like is the super duper + sign: "And the star of the show! Introducing..."

Good grief. I need a smoke.

For that much needed smoke which we all seriously need, and many of them, may I suggest a good cigar? Do not use Convivium or any old or new copy of the Westurd Communist Distorter to light one up though. The smoke of Satan will have destroyed a perfectly good Cuban/Honduran/Nicaraguan/DomRepublican.

Being in a serious theological/liturgical connundrum, I feel I will be a-lighting a many in the days and weeks to come. To paraphrase Bilbo Baggins..ho ho ho to the baccy I go, to prick my conscience if not appease my woe.

Well being a faithful RadTradCat was not meant to be easy...........

Forgot to note about this in previous post concerning the pope:B16 appointing a heretic as head of the CDF...........time for that smoke......
Cam it get worse? Yes. Will it? Being an optimistic pessimist......yup..... forgive me for my lack of Faith :@(

Father R was a chief organizer of the shindig, which is why you can't have a good commentary on WYD 2002 without him. It must have been a huge job, which he did very well, and no doubt he wants to reminisce on those six days of glory. But--Mel Lastman? Seriously?

Is it really to "reminisce" or yet another proclamation to everyone, including the right people, that says: "Look what I did!"?

Lastman - I know. A bad boy. Noooooooooobody does it like Mel.

The  super duper + sign reminds me of how a Bishop signs his name. So are they promoting Rosica for a Bishopric. If so, how about for the Arctic Circle where he can do no harm? ;)

Uuuuhhh...why do we need a magazine about a 10-year-old Youth Day?

Just that particular issue has WYD 2002 as its focus. The reason for the posting more so relates clericalist influence and Catholicism as a "brand" - all under the watchful eyes of the Canadian Bishop's Conference.

Yes, they need to "look back" at WYD, because there was no lasting change that endured to the present. It's been business as usual in Can Church for ten years. -TS

That would be correct.
